Supernatural nature

These pieces were developed from original drawings and photographs of insects observed at London Zoo. The use of fine card replicated the delicate nature of the insects which included butterfly’s and crickets. The use of light to create shadow in the photographs of my final pieces emphasises the surreal and supernatural aspects of the insects.
